The Big Woodstock-post event news.
The Big Widstock happened on Saturday 25th July and it was a fantastic day. The weather was amazing and meant that the beer and burgers turned into a picnic for many people.
It was a busy day with six bands playing and the 250 – 300 people who were there supporting the day, loved it.
Konrad had a brill. gig. Our constant rehearsals and recent gigs have made the band so tight that people are now commenting on that, and that Konrad have never sounded so good.Thats exactly how we all feel. These are constant comments we keep getting and it really does make the buzz of a gig even better.Carolyn Konrad, the lead singer played sax in public for the first time, terrifying as it was for her, it was a blast.It was probably equally terrifying for the band.

Gig News
All the gigs have been going really well. The best news that we have had from all who have followed the band since its inception is, that they think this is the best sound and line-up ever. They are all raving about Konrad.The tightness of the band and the variety of the songs really grabs everyone who comes to a gig.
Best quote from Campbell Dempster one of our friends was
” This should be on Jools Holland” Now that would be our perfect gig.BRING IT ON. Anyone out there got Jools home number?
The gig at Capitol in Sauchiehall Street was brilliant.Its such a fab venue. The space in the basement is perfect for any kind of music and a great size of venue.Konrad went down a storm with a very appreciative crowd.We all had a brill night.
There is another week-end of varied music at Capitol, that Georgie the organiser is doing. She asked Konrad back to play a gig on the 25th July but sadly we can’t do that. We are then going to be playing at the Big Widstock festival in the park in Cambusbarron near Stirling, for the third year running. Konrad at 2pm. Konrad are the first of 6 bands on at that event. Anyone wants to know more about the festival, then e-mail Konrad on our website. Its a great day of music, booze and burgers.
